Adult Socialization Program
This program is open to all
developmentally disabled adults aged 21 years or older and residing in Queens.
Program participants engage in recreational activities with an emphasis on
developing social interaction and community inclusion.
Participants
engage in activities of their choosing including group gaming, swimming and
other physical activities, shopping, dining, cooking and arts and crafts.
Transportation to the program is arranged with the participant's day program
or other means.
QPRC provides subsequent transportation to off-site program events
and to the participant's home.
Program location: Queens Parent Resource Center, Jamaica, NY
Hours: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday
