Focus on QPRC history and goals

RESOURCE CENTER, INC.
PARENT FEDERATION SUPPORT GROUP
The PARENT FEDERATION of QPRC,
a family support, information and advocacy organization holds monthly meetings
to discuss issues relevant to their children's disabilities, learn about the
latest medical advances, discuss government policies related to Mental
Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, and we offer support to each other.
Our monthly workshops and meetings are held every year from September to June
from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. The dates and topics are decided by the families
through surveys which will be available beginning July 31, 2003. The workshops
and meetings take place at our agency located at 88-50 165th Street, 2nd floor,
Jamaica, NY 11432. We welcome parents of children who have been diagnosed with
Mental Retardation and/or a Developmental Disability to join.
