Day Habilitation Residential Recreation Home

Respite programs provide care for disabled children, giving  their primary care-givers an opportunity to have scheduled free time to attend to other matters.  The After School Respite programs are provided for developmentally disabled children age 5 to 12 years old living in Brooklyn and Queens.  Participants engage in diverse activities including homework help, games and puzzles, arts and crafts, community outings and inclusionary events.

Transportation to the program is arranged with the participant's school or other means.  QPRC provides subsequent transportation to off-site program events and to the participant's home.
